Expedient Tax Services, LLC

We are aware that the Federal government is finalizing a second relief bill which will likely include another round of payments to many individuals. We expect that the IRS will send the vast majority of these payments directly to taxpayers. Please visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov/eip for the most up-to-date information regarding stimulus payments.

At this point in time, we have no additional information about the timing or method for the distribution of this next round of payments. However, if you have moved since you filed your taxes in 2020, we recommend that you update your forwarding address information with the U.S. Postal Service to ensure that you can receive mail delivery without delays from the IRS.

Economic Impact Payments (EIP)

Most recipients don’t need to take any action to receive their Economic Impact Payments (or “EIPs” – sometimes referred to as “Stimulus Checks”). The IRS plans to send Economic Impact Payments via direct deposit to eligible recipients’ bank accounts, or the IRS will mail pre-paid debit cards or checks directly to eligible recipients.
